Advent Calender
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the positve feedback on my photo! Wow- you girls never cease to amaze me. You are truly so uplifting & encouraging, and trust me it took alot for me to through that photo on here! Im so appreciative to each & every one of you who left me a kind, encouraging comments . It gives me some greatly needed confidence! Im probably my worst critic anyways. So I'd love to share with you my advent calender I made last fall when I was pregnant & testing out my new sewing machine. This is a Moda panel from Art-to-Heart. Its free motion quilted in an irredesent thread by sulky.
All theseguys are the little ornaments that hang off of the button tree. They are backed in wool-felt together with heat-N-Bond, and a ribbon loop.
And here's a little close up of Santa's face and the free motion quilting. It took awhile to do the entire thing but it turned out quite nice , & I think it was worth the effort. Im not a big fan of panels but when I saw this one I just loved it! The holidays are here so Im pumped to dig in! I found some AMAZING treasures thrifting...lots of goodies to show you soon!!!

Wow! That's an amazing advent calendar! Beautiful.
If you have still have the emails, there should be a link to your blog at the bottom of it. If you click that link, it takes you directly to the post that the comment was left on. BUT, you are still getting them even with the verification on? That stopped it for me.
That is sooo cute! I love the iridescent thread...the perfect accent.
By the way, you have NO reason to be shy with pictures of yourself. You're so pretty!!
I'm not usually a fan of panels either but I just *love* this!
Looking forward to seeing your treasures!

That is so cute! I love the sweet Santa face ;)
You have a LOT of blogs in your blogroll.. how long does it take you to read them all?
and you look beautiful in your picture!~
Darling panel. The irridescent thread adds so much. I'll have to look for some of that next time I'm out.
Your calendar is adorable, I love the font and irridescent thread, too. Looking forward to your seeing your thrifty treasures. I put myself on a thrifting hold so I can work on some projects and do something with the stuff I collected before my house is overrun with THINGS..lol
Have a Happy Thanksgiving
I love advent calendars ~ and yours is absolutely adorable!
