Holiday treasures

Oh my, December is coming so fast around the corner! So I said I found a few treasures thrifting last week. This great box of vintage ornaments was only 2.00, and even in its original box!!! And this fabulous glass tree topper was only 1.00! I was so excited when I found these.

5 more fun vintage aprons, that I just listed for sale in the shop . There are actually 3 sets of 5 apron sets to choose from right now.
I really love the orange hand smocked apron with the ricrac,as well as my other fav-the avacodo green holiday apron which would be so fun to wear cooking Christmas dinner!!

And I finally finishes my circles decorative mat. I backed it with a co-ordinating fabric. So happy as I also finished 2 of those spiral scarves, in green & white. They are so easy and really addicting. I might have to make more for Christmas gifts. And I can crochet them while Im watching my favorite t.v shows while lying in bed. I realized that thats probably a major factor in that Im not getting my huge stack of books read. Oh well, theres always January for reading!

Reminding myself this week:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against all things there is no law.

Galatians 5:22-23

~cheers~

I think your Bible verse is timely. Thank you.

Those sprial scarves were very cute. Did they take long?

God bless!

Ooh, good find on the tree topper. I was just saying I am one short (so I bought a cutesy Martha Stewart one instead of waiting for vintage!).

Good reminder, thank you. Love all your vintage ornament and the boxes. I think my mom still has all of her ornaments from my childhood and before in the original boxes. This reminded me of decorating the tree as a kid. :) Love the aprons, too. I need to get back in the habit of wearing one. I don't know why it's so hard for me.

Love the mat, and great vintage ornaments!! I've taken to knitting a bit as I am in bed watching tv. I haven't finished anything yet though, I just taken up knitting and it is slow going it for me! Like you, my books just sit there lonely..lol. Oh well, tis the season to create!

I'm sooooo tempted to start one of those spiral scarves, but I'm forcing myself to be a good girl and finish my other projects :) Those vintage christmas balls look just like a set my parents have. They must have been made at least 30 years or more ago.
