Goodies
Last night I decided to make some goodie bags for my craft table for an upcoming sale. Thanks for some well needed inspiration from my swap goodies, so I covered this box and filled it with the little papercraft surprize bags to sell, and also some vintage goodie bags.
Yeah my redwork tablecloth from Ebay came today!! Check it out! ...Anyone out there nknow what it says? Im dying to know, it was adverized as a laundry cover????? Whats that?

Very nice tablecloth. I babel-fished the writing because I was curious and apparently it says "rot smoothly and finely". Somehow I think something was lost in translation :-)

Apperently my Grandma said it says "roll flat & press neatly" and you through it over a laundry basket of things that need a pressing..to pretty it up! I just love it!
Nice piece of vintage Redwork ( though it looks as if it is cross stitched). I love the old things and sayings. Your Grandma is almost right it says "Roll flat and neatly".The "roll" comes from the mangle that where rather comon in the old days here in Germany. My Grandma used to mangle all her household linen....
