Open Invitation

Ok so I was supposed to update my link list last week & it still didnt happen. Dont get me wrong, I have been thinking alot about.Thinking about how I want to add so many, but I would need a million pages, thinking to scrap the whole list because i want everyone included, and its just too many to list and to many gazillion to read. Thinking how if I do keep it, that I would like my links to reflect special places to me, and special people to me, ecspecially all my regular sweet commenters because they are a huge part of my inspiration to keep going in this very ,what seems to be a competative blog world. On the other hand there is sooooo much genuine goodness, kindness, and more generosity than I see in my daily real life. All this is why I keep going on posting, even if no-one cares what Im saying? Right??
So many things to be grateful here, yet so much time wasted online too. I really need to set my priorities on paper. Basically I feel so blessed that anyone actually cares what I have to say! I really want to thank each & ever commenter because as I said before, Im not able to get back to everyone, with blogger, so if you ever think, boy shes a snob, I really do try! PLease make sure your settings are set to bloggers can reply to you! So I really want to encourage everyone who reads this to do me a huge favor, if you do read hear & care what i have to say, or just like creating & pictures-thats Ok! Just tell me who you are, I would love to see whos really reading here and send out an open invitation to stop lurking & come meet me! I might get really brave and post a big picture of myself or something crazy! LOL. So Im not sure what will end up on the link list so that is why you need to help me. I got through the whole pressure to blog thing & that was easy- If I have time I do, and if I dont ,I dont. That was easy-peasy. If i get pressure for stuff I just end up backing off of whatever it is,and just start to procrastinate. This is why I've decided to come up with a daily schedule. I must try to stick to it somewhat to get anything accomplished. Does anyone else follow a daily scheduele?this really interests me so please share!

So no post is complete without a few crafty pics
so heres a bag I made out of 2 seperate vintage tablecloths. One pre-printed & one hand embroidered daisy seafoam one, complete with drawstring top.

Well I've only just found your blog a week or so ago, so this is only the 2nd time I've commented, but I enjoy admiring others work, a great way to get inspiration. As for the link list, that's totally a personal thing. I'm sure no one would get their nose in a twist if they didn't see their blog listed, and if they did....well.....

Your phrase 'competitive blog world' really got me thinking. I've never considered it that way before, but you're right and in my head there's a whole elaborate hierarchy of bloggers, from A-list bloglebrity through to mere mortals like me.

I'm not in it to compete, because if I were it would take away all the pleasure. Do with your link list whatever pleases you. And if you find the answer to the daily schedule thing, be sure to let the rest of us know!

Well, you could always do what I did, and take the cheaters way out. If you use bloglines, make your subscriptions public, then just link to your bloglines. (Although I do need to change the links I have on my front page, but who has the time right now? LOL)

I actually really enjoy digging through other people's links list when I have a free moment.

I've found many wonderful blogs by checking out other folk's listed links... so I recently felt compelled to update my own list.

I never expect someone to send a personalized reply to a comment that I've left on a blog. It certainly is nice - but I think you would feel less pressured if you allowed yourself a break from that.

I've recently given myself a break from my daily "To-Do" list... and it has been like a mini vacation. I even got motivated to do some chores I've been putting off for ages. I think because they weren't listed on paper as something I HAD to do. : )

I've been reading your blog for a long time now. I use bloglines. I have a blog of my own(Getting to Crazy), but have been having a problem getting into a schedule of posting very often. Sometimes you have something to say or show and somedays you just wanna crawl back in bed! Daily schedule? Wow - I think on a larger scale (week) I guess. I have Monday's covered with laundry & errands. LOL! We are currently trying to sell our home after putting much of our "life" in storage. So I have, in the past few weeks, found myself strangely bored at times. I'm a teacher of crazyquilting and Redwork embroidery and belong to a local active stitching group. So-there ya go - now you know more about one person who reads your blog daily!
big smiles,

I do indeed care who you are and what you have to say--that's why I read your blog every single day. There are numerous blogs I enjoy, my habit upon rising in the morning is to read those I've bookmarked and think about what is said and whether I have anything to contribute in response. It takes me two hours to do this and I admittedly need to do something about shortening that time. But I learn so much, celebrate and commiserate accordingly, and just relish in all the inspirational stories out there.

Thank you for blogging-you have made a difference in my little world.

Hi there! I'm delurking to tell you that I've had your blog saved in my favorites for quite some time (maybe a year?) and I really enjoy your blog. Your tastes are similar to mine and you enjoy the same crafts I do! Plus, you seem like your faith guides your actions and that's important to me. I'm going to be starting a blog of my own very soon, not that I think anyone would care what I say either, but it's a good record of what you do which helps motivate you to do more, plus you never know how what you say may help someone else and you never hear about it. Like everything else, though, you gotta let the perfectionism go and just do what you feel you can, right? God bless!

Hi! I read your posts all of the time. I, too, need some sort of structure to get moving on the many projects I have in my head. I make little lists and then lose them. Check out my site and you will see what I mean. Hollyhocks.typepad.com

peek a boo! I have been lurking for quite some time...I love seeing what you are working on. You know, I think it's funny that some blog readers get frustrated when a blogger doesn't stick to "just crafting" or whatever...because reading about the day to day is often more inspiring to me. It makes me feel better when I have been struggling with an issue to discover that a couple of my favorite bloggers are struggling too- it somehow makes me feel more connected and human and less like an idiot, if you know what I mean? I can't wait to see all the responses about a daily schedule, because I have really been wrestling with it myself.

I love this bag. The drawstring is brilliant!

I know what you mean about the links. I have about 100 linked in my sidebar. And another 50 or so bookmarked in a folder.

I tend to collect links to wonderful blogs. There are sooo many out there.

Angie, I'm a notorious lurker lol. I read a TON of blogs, but have been reading yours for a couple months now and I love it! I just signed up for the Titus 2 message boards with the link you provided today. I always forget to click over and comment, but since you wanted people to delurk here I am! LOL! I love your daily schedule, I really need to sit down and do something like that. I'm going to sign up for the organization thing there on board too and see if that helps lol.
