Meet ducky

Meet ducky..My wee little ducky pull-toy pincushion. I just put him up in the shop. This week has been so hot I have gotten nothing done, Im so hot and sweaty, not like you wanna hear that, but who likes sweaty hands on nice clean crisp fabric? Not I. So another week goes by, and Im falling so far behind! I should have gotten fall & winter goodies started already but who can think (or wants to think) about snow in this fantastic weather! So we did other things..like gardening! This is my oldest boy -Tyler and daughter- Avery. I've grown so many zuchinnis , they're coming out our ears! Might be making alot more chocolate zuchinni cake!

In Maine the only time they lock doors in when the Zucchini become ripe...if you don't lock your car you might find a giant on your back seat :D
The duck is adorable!

The pincushion is gorgeous. I must remember not to plant zuchinni this year.

I have read so many people looking forward to fall and I just want to say "hey wait, we get 10 months of mild cool weather!" (at least to those pacific northwesterners talking about the heat) I so enjoy the warmth and the fact that it slows me down. For those 9-10 months of the year I am go-go-go. I love having the excuse to garden, sit in a chair and sip on a cool drink. The pillow is lovely and the zuchinni fantastic. I have never tried that flavour of cake but it sounds scrummy.

I LOVE the ducky!! How sweet is that! The zucchini bread sounds great - I grew up with my grandma growing tons of zucchini and having a lot of zucchini bread (and chocolate zucchini bread). Cute children too!
