New book & thrifty finds

I would like to say thank-you again to everyone you popped over & joined the little book giveaway. The book is officially on its way to its new home! I picked these little beauties today while thrifting with a friend, quite happy** with my new treasures, although my girlfriend says my new aqua vase is really an urn for ashes- NO way- !!!!! Its too small!!(goodness I hope not because I really love it & I dont care its going to have some pencils in it soon anyways! My new goodies finally came!! I ordered a pile of new woolfelt, & this book from a friend, its pretty cute.
These pillows look fun!

And... to answer a couple questions- That little house behind my pond is my daughters playhouse, its about10 feet by 6 feet, just filled with toys! Also that vintage McCalls embroidery lettering book has some great images, so i posted the pics here for those who asked(I have more), but because they are backwords as iron -on transfers are-they may be hard to copy! So I thought in order to share, if you leave a comment stating you want them i will photocopy a bunch for you & mail an envelope out to you so they're full size! I will contact you for your mailing addy, Then you just have to hold them up to a window and trace, then stitch!
~cheers~

I would like copies of whatever you would like to send. I have only discovered embroidery about 3 months ago and I just can't stop.
Thank you KenziesKorner (Linda)

You are amazing...that's so generous! I'm not asking though...I've cut myself off from new patterns. lol

I love your finds. It never entered my mind that the aqua vase was an urn. lol I can see now that it could be but it wasn't my first thought. My first thought was AQUA! It's my newfound love.

Angie, that doesn't look like an urn to me. It looks like a vase and it's really cute and pretty!

Oh and that Vintage Animals book, I must find that! I have every "Vintage" embroidery book that they made and didn't know there was a new one. Now I'm on a quest! I usually purchase mine from Keepsake Quilting so now I must call them to see if they have it!'

By the way, I love your blog and I love your Etsy shop!

Stitching you say? Can you se me running away behind a chair? I am not one for sitting a sewing stitch by little stitch... I started a series of finger puppets but they gave me the hoobies and I put them aside. Far too fiddley for me. Have an awesome week. xox Nicole.

I wanted to ask if your source for wool felt is Canadian or elsewhere? I would love a copy of the pages. I am just getting into embroidery and have really enjoyed it. What I really crave is someone sitting beside me with lots of experience and an open ear to endless questions. Maybe in 20 years when we have VR Blogs. Thanks again for the book, I can't wait to get home to look at it.
