When I went to the mail this morning I got an random surprize!!! Thank-you Linda for all the goodies so beautifully packaged in a burgundy suede box. I only have a few posted here but the box was full! A handmade bookmark set, pincushion, with needleholder,applique pear mat, and more!! Im so lucky, Linda your a good friend!

mug mats

I have been gone down south visiting and so when I got home I sure needed to get back too it. Yeahhhhh!! Made some mug mats/coasters today & am posting them for sale in my Etsy shop and on my website. They are hand peiced and machine stiched with free motion embroidery on both. I really love both sets and am having a hard time parting with them...maybe it's the colors! For More images and closeups:

My daughters new(well new to her) baby buggy! So adorable. She's having a blast wheelin this around the house! Thanks to my lovely Auntie Elsie, what a great treasure!

Same Fabric-New Prototype

Im in love with this fabric! I cant seem to get enough of it. Anyways the diaper bag I made is too small. It's a perfect puse but not large enough for all there bottles...ect, so I've designed a new prototype. Not as stylish but it will do the trick. So sadly I'm selling the last purse in my etsy shop if anyone's interested. Got Mail!

Today I got a great package from lovely Lisa! She lovingly made a pair of her famous gauntlets for each of the kidlings. Thank-you Lisa they're amazing! My son got the Hotwheels Pair and my daughter the blue/grey pair. She loves them so my by the way-notice she's even gone to bed with them on! So sweet. I want some for driving so bad! Lisa sells these in her Etsy Shop under the name "needlequeen" and that she is!

New Dudds

Here it is, my new mini diaper bag for those quick trips to town.(how often im quick I don't know) Now I dont have to pack a thousand pounds on my shoulder.

I found the sweetest candy colored fabrics today. They make me want a sucker I think! I have big plans for the stripe and blue. It's going to be a small purse/diaperbag combo instead of my 40 pound clunker. Check back soon for the finished result...well maybe not too soon. My horrible camera...or is it the operator?

I spent half the day today looking for the manual that came with my digital camera but it was nowhere to be found. I probably threw it out in the box and now I have no idea how to fix my flash on the goofy camera. If you notice how dark all my photos are you will understand. it's driving me nuts. Also the program I use to load them into (Picasa) is great, but the paint program is a nightmare. Unless its me-which it most likely is-won't even let me crop or brightenup any images like you can in picasa. I wish I was more camera savvy. That will definiatly be on my 2006 to do list...MASTER THE DIGITAL CAMERA. Otherwise its getting recycled & Im getting a different one. hmmmm I wonder if they have a website? Why didn't I think of that? Thanks Tyler.

Back to the grind

I feel like I got alot accomplished today. I made myself a handy sewing machine organizer to keep all my do-dads off my work table. I'm quite happy with the result. Gotta luv her! My new baby...Iv'e already broken er in! Cupcakes for dessert. My uncle bought her a new kitchaid mixer for Christmas so she asked me if I would like her old Hamilton Beach clunker...Well Yeah! Shes had this for 30 years or so, and now it's getting a lovely new home. Can't beat free!
